Hello!!! I'm angelique...
I am a healer, an artist, a dancer and a lover of life...
Meditation, movement of all kinds and mobility work has helped me well as I have over15 years of experience as a bodyworker (CMT), however, now I find myself with more aches and unexpected pains from multiple repetitive stress injuries from my former career and just growing older. Becoming a Certified Yoga instructor in May 2012 in Hatha Yoga and had brought a new perspective to my healing arts practice and February 2017, I also added becoming certified in Yin Yoga Instructor to my practice. During the Pandemic, after closing my beloved studio in Petaluma, I studied with The Ready State and became a Certified Movement and Mobility Coach, I’m also Certified in Adaptive Yoga as well as becoming a Reiki Master and an Ordained Minister with ULC.
In addition to being a Yoga Instructor, I have my AA in Art and I love to paint, draw, knit, make jewelry and all sorts of multi-media arts that I sometimes use in my costuming for dance. I even won 1st Place at the 2025 Marin County Fair as well as Best in Division for a set I made for the 2024 Belly & The Beast Show in Sebastopol. I found myself falling in love with sword dance and have been extremely excited about learning to wield my sword with expertise and grace. I have always been passionate about dance, body movement, and all sorts of music and I'm proud to be the newest member of and currently performing with a well regarded local Bellydance Troupe, The Dancers of Nyx. I am also studying drumming.
I love a wide variety of foods and find international inspiration when feeding my loved ones, as well as believing wholeheartedly in their healing properties and integral part to maintain a healthy body. I've found that feeding the body also feeds the soul and eating dishes prepared with love is one of my favorite ways to express my appreciation and gratitude for living in such a beautiful and bountiful area.
